Valencia CF's opponents for the 2026-27 pre-season

The team will return to training on 2 July, play six pre-season friendlies, and complete training camps at the Royalverd Training Center (Girona) and St. George’s Park (England).

Valencia CF will return to work on 2 July, when the first-team players will undergo the usual medical examinations, blood tests, and fitness assessments at IMED Hospitals before beginning on-field training.

Under the guidance of head coach Carlos Coberán, the team will begin pre-season with a week of training at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna from 6 to 12 July.

The squad will then travel to Girona on 13 July for their first training camp of the summer at the Royalverd Training Center. During their stay, Valencia CF will play their first pre-season friendly against Petro de Luanda on 18 July.

Following this initial phase of preparation, the team will return to the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna, where they will play two further friendly matches. The first will be against CD Eldense on 22 July, followed by a fixture against CD Castellón on 25 July. Both matches will be played at the Antonio Puchades Stadium.

On 27 July, Valencia CF will travel to the United Kingdom for a second training camp at St. George’s Park, the home of the England national team. The squad will remain there until 1 August.

During their stay in England, Valencia CF will face Derby County FC behind closed doors on 28 July at St. George’s Park, before taking on Stoke City on 1 August at the Bet365 Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent.

After completing their preparations in England, the team will return to the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna for the final stage of pre-season. As is tradition, preparations will conclude with the Trofeu Taronja at Mestalla Stadium.

Valencia CF will announce the date, kick-off time, and opponent for the Trofeu Taronja in the coming weeks. The match will serve as the team's final test before the start of the new LaLiga season.
